Carat weight measures

Carat weight measures a diamond's size. Each carat is equal to 100 points. Thus, a .75-carat diamond is the same as a 75-point stone or a 3/4-carat diamond. According to the Diamond Information Center, the larger a diamond, the more rare it is. Not only are larger diamonds found infrequently in nature, but they also show off the stone's color and cut to the best advantage.

According to the Diamond Information Center, the purer a diamond, the more brilliant it is. A diamond's clarity is judged by the number, color, type, size and position of inclusions - "nature's birthmarks" - it contains. The fewer inclusions the stone has - as determined by a grading system - the more valuable it is.

There are several different shapes of cut diamonds; the one you choose depends upon your personal taste. Marquis cuts are out of style, but Princess, Round, Oval, and Emerald diamond rings are chosen by many couples.

And what could be more special and unique than a set of pearl jewelries? No, your gift doesn't have to be very expensive. Unlike before, only the richest of people could afford them, but not anymore.

Yet, despite the fact that there are already pearls that almost anyone could afford, pearls still manage to give any woman wearing them a regal air and a classy look. Pearls can easily match any outfit a woman might wear – be it a business suit, a party dress
There is no arguing about the beauty of turquoise, and in particular, turquoise jewelry. It gives off a warmth and elegance that few other gems can come close to matching.

Native Americans were arguably the experts when it comes to knowing about turquoise jewelry. They called this precious stone the "sky stone". Turquoise was their jewelry centerpiece so to speak, and they believed that it brought on good luck to anyone who wore it.

While turquoise was certainly held sacred by the Indians, it is also popular around the world in places such as Russia, Europe, Africa, among other countries.

pearl jewerlry that's what they call what happened to me. I guess it's better than disighn for pearl je

walery. But really there are no words to adequately sum up or label what we survivors live through. Sounds dramatic but the closest I can to come describe what happened to me, what I lived through is MURDER. Wikipedia defines Murder as "the unlawful killing of one human being by another. ...generally distinguished from other forms of homicide by the elements of malice, aforethought, and the lack of justification." I'm not trying to insult families whose loved ones have lost their lives at the hands of someone else. But I make the parallel because I too have lost my life in a way. My life as I knew it has changed to coin pearls wholesale forever. That man killed my spirit and may as well have killed me the night he decided to go to a bar, drug my drink and rape me.
